Curious Alumni Award celebrates our alumni who work towards a better future, showcasing curiosity and courage. These alumni act as ambassadors for our university in the professional world, within Finnish society, and in international context. The Curious Alumni may also engage in active collaboration with the university.
The whole LUT community is encouraged to participate and influence the nomination of candidates. LUT Alumni Relations compile a shortlist from the nominations, from which the Rectorate and Deans decide on the winner. The next Curious Alumni will be awarded during spring 2025.
A Curious Alumni Award winner is someone who:
- has actively contributed to creating a better future,
- has demonstrated a curious, courageous, and solution-oriented attitude in professional life nationally or internationally.
