In our applicant guide, you will find information about the degree programmes in English, application process, tuition fees and early bird discounts, and campuses.
We are eager to connect with prospective students. While you are always welcome to email us with any questions regarding our programmes and admissions at [email protected], the most effective way to experience what LUT has to offer is by meeting us at fairs, either in person or online.
Webinar: Life after LUT: How students can start building their careers while studying
Let’s address the elephant in the room: graduates are facing one of the toughest job markets we've seen in a while. In Finland, the unemployment rate reached 10.6% this September, while AI continues to disrupt the world of work.
For those who are considering studying abroad, these developments raise a lot of questions.
While we can’t control the circumstances, predict the future, or make promises about what lies ahead, universities and students do have control over how they adapt to the situation.
That’s why we’re inviting you to our webinar “Life after LUT – how students can prepare for the working world”
17 November 2026
15:00–16:00 (UTC+3)
In this one-hour session, we’ll find answers to questions like
What can students do during their studies to set themselves up for success after graduation?
What advice do successful alumni have for future and current students?
Is entrepreneurship a realistic alternative to traditional employment, and how can you get started?
A large part of the webinar will be an open Q&A where we’ll aim to answer as many of your questions as possible.
Join representatives from LUT Career Services, alumni, our entrepreneurship society LUTES, and current students to explore what resources are available and how to prepare for an uncertain future.
Register here.
