LUT University offers many types of study opportunities until 31 December 2024 for people fleeing the war in Ukraine. The study opportunities are available to those who have been granted temporary protection by the Finnish Immigration Service.

You can register to open university studies or apply for the right to complete non-degree studies, in which the quota reserved for people fleeing the war in Ukraine is 60 places at LUT. In addition, you can apply to degree programmes during ongoing and future admission periods.

Those who have fled Ukraine and have received temporary protection in Finland and a place to study at a LUT degree programme will receive a 100 percent tuition fee waiver for tuition fees in the academic year 2023–2024 on humanitarian grounds. The waiver applies to Bachelor's and Master's programmes at LUT.
