Biography
Md Kabir is a Junior Research Assistant in Mechanical Engineering at LUT University. His work focuses on X-ray computed tomography (XCT), pore/phase segmentation in CFRP/FFRP composites, and automated porosity detection in additively manufactured materials using U-Net–based deep learning. He builds reproducible Python/PyTorch pipelines for image analysis and model training, linking microstructure to mechanical performance and sustainability. He is open to collaboration on segmentation, dataset curation, and visualization.
