AI4IND – Industrial AI Innovation Hub for SMEs

Many companies face challenges due to a lack of expertise, suitable solutions, and the necessary infrastructure to support implementation. The project provides companies with support, information, and practical testing opportunities to evaluate and apply AI solutions in a business-driven way.

At the core of the project is the "Industrial AI Hub Päijät-Häme", a new collaboration platform that brings together local companies, technology providers, AI experts, and developers.The Hub offers a low-threshold test environment for developing and experimenting with AI applications—for example, in production optimization, quality control, and maintenance.

Goals

Concrete outcomes of the project include the implementation of pilot cases in various industries, where AI solutions are tested in real processes, as well as the organization of recurring workshops to assess companies’ readiness and support their development. In addition, the project will compile and disseminate best practices, materials, and recommendations to enable broader utilization of AI even after the project has ended.
