Our research group focuses on green-solvent-based biorefineries and the valorization of biomass and industrial side-streams. Our work spans the design of deep eutectic systems and other eco-friendly solvents, fundamental studies of solvent–biomass interactions, and the development of scalable pathways for producing high-value bioproducts. Bridging chemistry, materials science, and process engineering, we aim to unlock the full potential of renewable resources while promoting circularity and low-impact manufacturing. Our research contributes to cleaner production methods, novel biobased materials, and innovative waste-to-value solutions.
