Kasra Aliyon, Master of Science in Technology, will defend his doctoral dissertation in the field of energy technology at LUT 26 May at noon, in Auditorium 1314. His dissertation is titled A Systematic Approach to Using Artificial Intelligence as Surrogate and Generative Models in Energy Systems: Applications in Carbon Capture and Electricity Markets. Professor Iiro Harjunkoski from Aalto University, Finland, will act as opponent. Professor Jouni Ritvanen of LUT University will act as custos.
