Biography

Alisa Misukka is a Junior Researcher (R1) at LUT University, Finland, based at the Kouvola unit, where she is completing her Doctor of Science (Technology) degree in Industrial Engineering and Management. Her research focuses on sustainable food supply chains, with particular emphasis on the natural food product sector, examining how supply and demand dynamics, governance, and value creation shape sustainability outcomes from production to consumption. In addition, she conducts research on strengthening the commercialization of university research in Finland from the perspective of technology growth entrepreneurs, drawing on international benchmarking against ecosystems such as MIT, ETH Zurich, and KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Misukka serves as Project Manager of the TEKAS project and as a researcher in the KEKE project on sustainable food systems in Kymenlaakso. She is a member of the Nordic Research School in Innovation and Entrepreneurship and co-teaches master's-level courses in innovation and logistics at LUT University.
