Biography

Dr. Shola Oyedeji is a Postdoctoral Researcher at LUT University and an Adjunct Professor (Docent) in Sustainable and Green Software Development at the University of Turku, Finland. His research focuses on sustainable software engineering, green coding, sustainability assessment, and software engineering education.

His work investigates methods, tools, and practices for integrating environmental, social, economic, technical, and individual sustainability considerations into the design, development, and evaluation of software systems. He has led and contributed to national and international research and education projects and collaborates extensively with academic and industry partners.

Dr. Oyedeji also develops sustainability-focused software engineering curricula and supervises doctoral and master’s research. His work contributes to advancing sustainability-aware software development, green digital skills, responsible digital innovation, and effective knowledge transfer between academia and industry.
