CUSTOM – Compact Ultra-High Speed Turbo Compressor Motor

The CUSTOM project develops a Proof-of-Concept (PoC) for an ultra-high-speed motor operating above 100,000 RPM and delivering 27 kW power. The motor utilizes a synchronous reluctance design without permanent magnets, ensuring high mechanical strength, sustainability, and cost efficiency. Research focuses on advanced materials, rotor dynamics, and bearing solutions to achieve superior performance and market readiness.
