In our English-language bachelor's programmes, you will get to focus on issues that require global action, such as clean energy, the sustainable use of planetary resources, building resilient businesses and communities, and using data and digital technology for societal impact.

Each bachelor's programme is 180 ECTS credits, and you will graduate within three academic years. All bachelor's programmes are on-campus.
Apply to the bachelor's programmes through rolling admission: complete the online application form and submit required documents during the admission period. If you meet all the requirements in the rolling admission process, you will receive admission without any competition, as long as there are places available in the programme of your choice.

Citizens of non-EU/EEA countries pay an application fee of EUR 100 when applying to higher education programmes in Finland. The fee allows you to apply to multiple programmes starting in the same academic term at any university or university of applied sciences in Finland. The application fee does not guarantee admission to studies.
There are no application fees for students from EU/EEA countries.
The tuition fee for students from outside the EU/EEA area is EUR 12,000 per academic year in all English-language bachelor's programmes at LUT.
Tuition is free for students from EU/EEA countries.
Students, who are required to pay tuition fee, can receive an early bird discount of EUR 2,000 for the first year and scholarships of EUR 3,000 for the second and third years in others than double degree programmes. Read more.
In double degree programmes, there are no scholarships or early bird discounts available. For the second and third years, scholarships of EUR 3,000 are available. Read more.
The cost of living in Finland is on average comparable to the rest of Northen Europe. Expenses vary depending on the accommodation you choose and your personal spending habits. On LUT’s campuses and in its regional units, monthly living expenses including accommodation in a shared student apartment vary from EUR 900 to EUR 1,200.
As a degree student in Finland, you will be issued a student card that entitles you to student discounts on meals and other services (e.g., transport, museums, cultural events, lunch at the university).
Each bachelor’s programme enables you to continue your studies at the master’s level at LUT in your chosen field of specialisation, either directly or through a separate admissions procedure.
