Green Campus - Green progress

The Green Campus is the environment where we study and work. It creates sustainable solutions to global challenges and embodies LUT's green values and strong expertise in energy issues. On the Green Campus, we apply our cross-disciplinary research and education to reduce our environmental load.

The Green Campus concept, launched in Lappeenranta in 2011, shows how innovations in science, technology and business can help to build a sustainable world. On the Green Campus, we employ wind turbines and solar panels to develop the university's infrastructure. We are currently making the most of our research expertise to achieve carbon negativity at the university by 2024.

The Green Campus also represents our way of thinking, which leads to sustainable development and positive environmental impacts. We are changing the world into what we think it should be.
