Rail Baltica Growth Corridor

The RBGC project (2011-2013) promoted transport policies for the development of multimodal logistics and modern railway infrastructure in Eastern Baltic Sea Region. The main focus was set on improving passenger mobility and freight transportation along Rail Baltica route. Lead partner City of Helsinki, 21 partners from Baltic Sea Region countries. Project is part of a Flagship Project within the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea region. Project has been funded by European Union Baltic Sea Region Programme. RBGC Russia was a sister project for Rail Baltica Growth Corridor. RBGC Russia promoted the development of transport and logistics networks between North-West Russia and EU-states in Eastern Baltic Sea Region.
