The LUT Business School (former LUT School of Business and Management) celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2021. As if to honour the anniversary year, a record number of Master's degrees, 266, were completed at the LUT Business School in 2020. It is the highest number in the School's history.

In total, 1,824 Bachelor's degrees, 3,768 Master's degrees, 20 Licentiates and 129 Doctorates have been completed at the LUT Business School over 30 years.

The amount of 4 000 Master's degrees was achieved in 2021.

But the LUT Business School is not just numbers. Dean Sami Saarenketo says that the community is close and humane.

"We have a work community of hundreds of top professionals. Together with our students, we also have a desire to make the world a better place for future generations through science and education," Saarenketo describes.

According to Saarenketo, the core of the LUT Business School operations lies in responsible business renewal.

"The essential point is that we are a business school within a university of technology. Our graduates have excellent working life skills, and the employment rate among our students is very high. We train makers of the future who think responsibly and ethically to the service of the economy."

The LUT Business School is among the world's top 150 business schools in the Times Higher Education (THE) 2023 business school ranking. There are roughly 16 500 academic business schools in the world overall.
