Katariina Vakkuri

Katariina Vakkuri is a researcher and PhD candidate in LUT's Software Engineering department exploring sustainable ways of working, leadership and governance in software teams. Drawing on a multidisciplinary background in human resources, higher education, and IT consulting, she brings a distinctive perspective to the intersection of human sciences, technology, sustainability, and business. Her research focuses on developing sustainable practices and strategies that strengthen organizational resilience, reduce environmental impact, and create long-term value.
