Xiangdian Chen

Xiangdian (Emma) is an IoT ecosystem strategist, researcher, book author, and HBR Advisory Council member with over 20 years of business management experience in multinational corporations and startups. She completed her DBA in Intelligent Manufacturing Management (IMM) at ENPC, Institut Polytechnique de Paris, in 2024. Her current research focuses on rethinking business models at the ecosystem level towards sustainable goals, with an emphasis on theorization and tool development in the context of Industry 4.0, conducted at IEM, LUT, and within Finland’s pilot doctoral research group of IWM (Intelligent Work Machines).
