Biography

Jouni Koivuniemi, D.Sc. (Tech.), is an Associate Professor and Docent at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at LUT University, Finland. His research interests include digital service engineering, with a particular focus on the design and development of distributed service processes and systems in healthcare and rescue services. His work combines academic research with practical development in collaboration with public-sector organizations and industry.
