Pasi Peltoniemi
Biography
Pasi Peltoniemi received the D.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from LUT University, Finland, in 2010. From 2010 to 2014, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Laboratory of Control Engineering and Digital Systems at LUT University. In 2019, he was appointed Associate Professor of Power Electronics at LUT University. Since 2023, he has been a Full Professor with the Laboratory of Electrical Drives Technology, where he currently serves as Head of the Laboratory.
His research focuses on the modelling, control, design, and optimization of power electronic conversion systems. His research interests include wide-bandgap power electronics, power electronics for electrical drives, multilevel and soft-switched converters, grid-connected converters, DC power systems and grids, and power conversion for Power-to-X applications.
