Tuition Fee, Early Bird Discount & Scholarships


TUITION FEE

Citizens of the EU/EEA Countries and Switzerland

Studies are tuition-free for nationalities within

  • The European Union (EU)
  • The European Economic Area (EEA)
  • Switzerland

To prove your citizenship for being exempted from paying a tuition fee, you must upload a copy of a valid passport or national ID card to your Online Application Form.

Non-EU/EEA Citizens

Citizens of the non-EU/EEA countries (excluding Switzerland) must pay a tuition fee of

  • EUR 13 500 / each academic year

There are however, exceptions when a non-EU/EEA citizen (excluding Switzerland) is exempted from paying a tuition fee:

FIRST ACADEMIC YEAR: EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT

If required to pay a tuition fee, you can get

  • an Early Bird Discount of EUR 6 000 for the first academic year

if confirming your place in the programme and paying the remaining tuition fee of EUR 7 500 within three weeks from having received the Certificate of Admission.

The ultimate and final deadline to confirm the place is however, always 30 April 2022 at 15:00 (UTC+3) without any exceptions.

FIRST ACADEMIC YEAR: FINLAND SCHOLARSHIP

One Finland Scholarship is offered in this Master's Programme for the first academic year, including the following:

  • Full cover for the tuition fee plus,
  • EUR 5 000 for the living costs

The Finland Scholarship will be awarded in the order of the highest points scored in the evaluation process within the programme among the ones being eligible for the scholarships and having applied for it.

The scholarship can be applied for on the application form when applying to the programme.

The admitted student will claim the awarded Finland Scholarship by confirming his/her place in the programme by the deadline of 30 April 2022 at 15:00 (UTC+3). If the admitted student does not confirm the offered place in the programme by the given deadline, s/he will automatically lose the awarded Finland Scholarship along with the offered place in the programme as the DL for confirming the place being the same as well.

The condition for Finland Scholarship is that the student starts his/her studies in Finland as expected. The  EUR 5 000 for the living costs will be paid on the student's Finnish bank account once the academic year has begun and after him/her having arrived in Finland.

SECOND ACADEMIC YEAR: SCHOLARSHIP 

When required to pay a tuition fee, you will be awarded

  • a scholarship of EUR 6 000 for the second academic year

if meeting with the requirement of having completed a minimum of 60 ECTS credits of studies included in the personal study plan during the first academic year.

With a possible scholarship the tuition fee is EUR 7 500 for the second academic year.

The required ECTS credits will be automatically checked for and they must be included on your Transcript of Records by the end of the first academic year i.e. by 31 July. If the requirement for the minimum ECTS credits is met with, you will automatically be awarded a scholarship of EUR 6 000 for the second academic year.
