LUT's student intake in the first joint application round is 150: a total of 125 students in technology programmes and 25 in business.

LUT University will start eight English-language bachelor's programmes in August 2024. As in Finnish-language programmes, their duration is three years, and they lead to the degrees of Bachelor of Science in Technology or Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration. Graduates from the bachelor’s programmes are entitled to continue their studies in LUT's master’s programmes.

“Nearly a fifth of the students in our current English-language bachelor's programmes are Finnish citizens. The studies make it easier to access international job markets because students also acquire strong language skills and the ability to work in an international environment”, describes Jaana Sandström, vice rector for education.
