Biography

My research focuses on Human-Centric Explainable AI (XAI) and the responsible integration of AI and robotic systems within organizational settings. I am particularly interested in developing methodological frameworks that enhance the transparency, trustworthiness, and practical adoption of AI technologies across diverse sectors such as healthcare, logistics, and manufacturing. My work examines how sector-specific explainability, user-centered design principles, and advanced techniques like counterfactual analysis can be optimized to bridge the gap between complex AI capabilities and human understanding. Furthermore, I investigate the critical roles of usability, ethical implications, and trust in fostering user acceptance and enabling effective human-AI collaboration. I aim to validate theoretical frameworks and generate actionable insights through empirical, quantitative data from real-world pilots within the EU AI4Work project. My goal is to provide structured guidance and practical tools for developing AI systems that are not only technologically advanced but also socially responsible, intuitive to use, and aligned with human values, thereby promoting their ethical and effective integration into the future of work.
