Biography

Associate Professor, D.Sc. Harri Eskelinen is the Development manager in educational affairs of LES (School of Energy systems) and the Head of Degree Programs in Mechanical Engineering at LUT University. He received his doctoral degree D.Sc. (Tech) in 1999. Year 2000 he has nominated as an associate professor and in addition year 2001 he was nominated as an Adjunct Professor of DFMA. During his career he has mainly focused to research work, and he has published more than 110 scientific and other publications also including textbooks. His expertise covers several overlapping and integrated areas of science including the themes of research methods and methodologies, design of manufacturing and assembly and integration of material selection with product design and production.
