At Viipuri Lab, we design and conduct experimental games and decision tasks involving human participants. These studies may take place online or in person and may involve both individual and interactive settings. By analyzing participants’ decisions, we seek to deepen our understanding of decision-making in real-life situations.
Located at LUT Business School, Viipuri Lab supports experimental research across LUT University and collaborates with scholars and institutions both in Finland and internationally. Data collection is typically carried out using experimental software such as oTree.
Individuals who register as participants may be invited to take part in future experiments. Registration allows Viipuri Lab to share opportunities for participation, but it does not create any obligation to take part. Participation is entirely voluntary, and monetary compensation is provided in accordance with the specific terms of each study. Unless otherwise specified, all experiments are carried out anonymously, and participant data is handled with strict confidentiality. Viipuri Lab is committed to protecting participant privacy and to processing personal data fairly and lawfully in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679).
