How to Apply

Application Form

1.    Fill in the application form online at StudyInfo
2.    Upload the required documents
3.    Submit the application

No hard copies to be mailed to LUT Admissions Services. NOTE: when applying as undergraduate, please see further information at Applying as Undergraduate.

The application form is available only during the application period of 5 - 19 January 2022 at 15:00 (UTC+2).

All correspondence concerning your application will be sent by e-mail plus, the possible Letter of Admission will also be sent to the e-mail address given in the application form.

Required Documents

After filling in your application form, you need to upload all the required documents to your online application.

  •    Degree Certificate of your Upper Secondary Education
    an official translation in English, (if applicable)
  •    Transcript of Records
    an official translation in English, (if applicable)
      All the courses completed during the Upper Secondary Education have to be listed on the ToR
  •    Language Test Certificate (when required)
  •    SAT Test result (applicants applying with a SAT Test)
  •    Copy of Your Passport (id page)
  •    Copy of Your Finnish Residence Permit Card (if applicable)

Required when applying for being exempted for paying the tuition fee on the basis on the status on your Finnish RP Card.

Applicants who wish to apply during their last semester of upper secondary education have to submit a document issued by their school that indicates the qualification that the applicant is about to complete and the expected date of graduation.

Final Verification for Educational Documents After Having Started your Studies

  • Final verification process for degrees awarded in countries outside of Finland

After having arrived at LUT University, the final verification process will be completed; you will be requested to bring your original Degree Certificate and ToR plus the possible translations for the final verification process.
Not bringing in the required documents or, presenting documents that were involved in any kind of forgery will automatically lead into revoking your righ to study at LUT University.
