Rolling admission for Bachelor's studies

In addition to regular admission to LUT Bachelor's programmes in English, we offer you the rolling admission option.

Through rolling admission, you can apply to all Bachelor's programmes in English:

Lappeenranta campus

Lahti campus

For more information about our campuses, please see the pages for Lappeenranta campus and Lahti campus.

Rolling admission is an application path for those who have completed or are close to completing their degree outside of Finland.

The Bachelor's programmes in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Mechanical Engineering and Software and Systems Engineering are unique, international double degree programmes developed in cooperation with Hebei University of Technology (HEBUT) in China. Students admitted to these Bachelor's programmes at LUT University will receive a degree certificate from two universities after they have fulfilled the degree requirements of both universities. Students will complete the entire degree in LUT campuses in Finland.

Application period

1 November 2021 – 31 May 2022 at 15:00 (UTC+3).
The application period will close when all student places are filled. Studies start in autumn 2022. The link to the electronic application form will be published here when the application period is about to start.

You can only apply to one programme during the rolling admission period. Applicants receive the admission decision within a month of the receipt of a complete application and its appendices. Applicants must accept their place at LUT and pay their possible tuition fee within 21 days from having been emailed the Certificate of Admission.
