The Ambassador of Finland to the United States Leena-Kaisa Mikkola cordially invites you to an event to launch the Finnish-American Society in Science, Innovation, and Arts on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 5:30pm – 8:30pm at the Embassy of Finland.
The event is organized by the Embassy of Finland together with Fulbright Finland Foundation, the Finnish-American Research and Innovation Accelerator FARIA and the National Council of University Research Administrators NCURA. US based LUT alumni are warmly welcomed to participate. The event is held in English.
The keynote will be delivered by Bengt Holmström, Paul A. Samuelson Professor of Economics Emeritus at MIT and the winner of the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel 2016.
