Meals
The summer school participation fee includes one lunch/day at the university cafeteria. The lunch includes the main course, beverages, bread, side salad and a coffee. Additionally, it is possible to have breakfast and buy snacks and beverages at the cafeteria. NOTE, LUT students pays for the lunch themselves.
The opening hours of the university cafeteria are 8 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. A snack costs approximately EUR 2, coffee or tea approximately EUR 1. In addition, there are basic cooking facilities in residences.
Supermarkets are open 7 – 21/Saturdays 7 – 20/Sundays 11 – 20.
There are pizza & kebab restaurants close to your accommodation (Selam, Skinnarilankatu 1; Pizza Rakuuna, Hietakallionkatu 2; Susan Pizza, Sammontori 2). More restaurants are located in downtown. Learn more during the city tour.
