From Alumni to Alumni events offer an opportunity for professional development through peer learning.  During these relaxed and informal afternoon coffee meetings, we share best practices and experiences related to the theme of the day, discuss effective solutions together.  In March, our theme is recruitment.

Recruitment in the global workplace – decisions that matter in everyday life

Most of us work in an international environment or with international experts. Different backgrounds are a strategic asset for companies. On the other hand, there are already many international talents in Finland who want to work in Finland. How can we harness this potential? 

-How can we make recruitment decisions that support diversity in the company?
-How can we increase the company's readiness to hire international experts?

Each of us may at some point recruit

Effective cooperation between the recruiting supervisor and the recruitment team, the choices made by supervisors—what we require, how we operate in our teams, and how we communicate—build the employer image every day. Clarifying requirements and expectations attracts better applicants.

We will discuss these topics at the From Alumni to Alumni afternoon coffee event at the end of March.

The topic will be introduced by our LUT alumna Sanna Frisk, Senior Recruiter and Recruiter of the Year at Nordea.

Sanna Frisk graduated with a master's degree in Business Administration from LUT in 2020. Her major was 'Strategy, Innovation, and Sustainability', and her minors were 'Industrial Management' and 'Innovation & Knowledge Management'.
