Biography

Mahdieh Safyari is an Academy Research Fellow. She received her PhD from Tohoku University, Japan, where she built a strong and versatile expertise in advanced manufacturing and materials design, with a particular focus on microstructure–mechanical property relationships in welded steel structures, supported by advanced characterization of metallic materials.
