Learning outcomes

In this programme, you will learn how to produce energy safely and economically.

You will understand and be able to explain the benefits and drawbacks of different bioenergy generation technologies.

After completing this Master's programme, you will possess:

competence to analyse, design and select energy conversion processes for different applications, taking technological, economic, environmental and societal aspects into account;

professional skills to work as a specialist in energy technology: you will be able to take part in strategic planning to increase the use of bioenergy;

knowledge to apply and develop mathematical models to solve energy technological problems, understand the prerequisites of biofuel utilisation (processes and equipment) and investigate and design small-scale bioenergy systems;

team management skills to manage and organise both national and international projects.
