Rebecca J. Wicker, Master of Science in Environmental Biology, will defend her doctoral dissertation in the field of Green Chemical Engineering at LUT on 13th of December 2023 at noon, in Mikkeli (MUC building, Lönnrotinkatu 5) and online. Her dissertation is titled Bioprospecting for Nordic photosynthetic consortia for wastewater treatment, carbon capture, and value creation. Professor Christiane Funk, Umeå University, Sweden, will act as opponent. Professor Amit Bhatnagar of LUT University will act as custos.
