Research:
My research topic is reliability of power electronics in corrosive gas environments: Electrical drives among other nowadays common power electronic devices are subjected to vastly different environmental conditions. The harhest environments subject the devices to humidity and corrosive gases. The research project seeks to improve reliability of the devices and provide industry with suitable product testing methods to use in research and development.

Teaching:
I have been the responsive teacher of the course "Introduction to EMC" since 2020, first under the name of "EMC" in Finnish and since 2022 by the new name in English. On the course bachelor level students get to know basics of electromagnetic interference coupling and how to prevent it.
