Solving the sustainability crisis and complex problems of the future

Rapid economic growth, expanding populations and increasing prosperity are driving up the demand for energy, water and food, especially in developing countries.
There is a growing need to solve complex problems of the future and the sustainability crisis at the interface between people and technology. Society and people depend on the functioning of energy, water, and food systems. The scarcity of these life-giving resources creates conflicts and crises. By engaging in continuous dialogue and drawing on cutting-edge research, organisations, communities and societies can build common understanding and orient their activities towards more sustainable ways of operating.
At LUT University in Finland, you will learn how to treat water not only efficiently, sustainably and economically and how to renew the food processing industry in a sustainable way. You will find new solutions for challenges related to the life-giving resources of clean air, water and energy – also from the perspectives of global communication.
Join us at LUT University, where you will obtain a wide-ranging education and develop a trailblazer mentality and become tomorrow’s responsible decision-makers.
