Kouvola1

Are you ready to embark on an exhilarating journey that will redefine Kouvola's destiny?

Think Track is Kouvola's urban development hackathon event, with this year's theme being Kouvola for students. At the start of the event, students are divided into groups and assigned to develop concepts that support urban development in the city. On the third day, the groups will present the results of their work in front of a jury. The best work will be awarded.

The event starts on Tuesday 30 January at 10.00 and ends on Thursday 1 February at 16.30.

Benefits of participation include:

  • Opportunity to network and make new friends
  • Free accommodation in Kouvola, including two breakfasts, three lunches and one dinner
  • Getting new and interesting content for your CV
  • Prize for the winners
  • Learning agile development skills
  • Contributing to urban development

It is possible to gain credits from the event, but you will need to negotiate with your programme director to include these credits in your study plan, for example in the form of an internship or project course.

Participants are expected to have an open mind and a willingness to work with people they may not have met before. You can apply to join the event via the registration link on this event page. Students will be selected based on their motivation.

The event will be held in English. Applications for the event must be sent no later than 18.1 at 23.59. Applicants will be informed of the selection decision on 19.1
