Roadmap for scientist
The objective is to strengthen collaboration between industry and research, and to promote the use of applied research based on the needs of business and working life. This will be achieved by advancing the work on the national science roadmap and the strategic targeting of research funding, through the creation of a unified, nationwide research area mapping related to Green Electrification – the so-called roadmap for scientist. Another goal of fostering collaboration between leading experts from research institutes and universities is to identify potential strategic research areas at the national level.

From science to practice
The objective is to utilize research knowledge in the development of P2X applications for green transition production, to reduce risks, and to promote investments. In addition, the aim is to define the spearheads of green electrification research and regional strengths, as well as to assess the impact of EU measures on Finland’s competitive advantage and competitiveness.
Another goal is to enhance industry and financial sector support for strategies as well as for investment and research projects. This includes mapping the overall picture and infrastructure requirements of green electrification for research and testing centers. At the same time, information will be compiled to support the planning of strategies, investments, and research projects. In addition, background studies will be prepared for investors to reduce risks and uncertainties by combining research and market data.
