Magnetic semiconductors

Our research group has a long tradition of research in magnetic semiconductors. Our research focuses primarily on magnetic impurities in doped II-V and II-IV-V semiconductors and our group is one of the leading research groups in this narrow field of research.

We have developed an analysis method for research results of the transport properties, Hall voltage, and resistivity, and one of our primary goals is to determine the suitability of these materials for spintronics applications.

A new research area is carbon nanoparticles, in which fascinating ferromagnetic behaviour has been observed.
