Kirsimarja Blomqvist
Biography
Kirsimarja Blomqvist is a Professor of Knowledge Management at LUT University Business School. Her research interests relate to trust, knowledge management, innovation, networks, digitalization, and new forms of organizing. She has published over 220 research articles in academic journals, books, and peer-reviewed conferences. Her research has been published e.g. in California Management Review, Scandinavian Journal of Management, Creativity and Innovation Management, Research Policy, R&D Management, Technovation, Information & Organization and Regional Studies. She has served on the Academy of Finland Council for Culture and Social Sciences and the National Committee for Research on Artificial Intelligence and Digitalization. She is currently on the Editorial boards of the Journal of Organization Design, Journal of Co-operative Organization and Management, and Industrial Marketing Management. She is a founding member and board member of the FINT network, which currently includes over 770 trust researchers around the world, and also serves on the boards of private and public organizations. Earlier, she had worked for small and large technology firms, government risk funding, and at LUT University as vice-rector for international affairs and director of the LUT University's first multidisciplinary research center, TBRC.
