Biography

I work as a Junior Researcher at the Department of Software Engineering, and I am located in Lahti. I am interested in the transformation of skills, the paradox of labour shortage in IT, and promoting diversity, especially in the technology and software industries. I believe that advancing diversity and leveraging different backgrounds and skill sets are key to fostering both innovation and productivity. I aim to explore how experts from various fields and emerging areas of expertise can bring new perspectives and solutions to the field of software engineering and the broader tech industry. Furthermore, I am especially interested in how Finnish software IT companies can manage and harness this transformation of skills to build successful teams and enhance their competitiveness.

I have an academic background in social sciences, social policy as a major. I always say that I'm interested in systems and people in or with the systems overall - whether they are welfare systems or software systems.
