Vu Luong

Vu Luong is working as junior researcher at the Department of Separation Science, LUT University in Mikkeli. He is focusing on Membrane Bioreactor techniques to enhance the removal of hazardous substances, process efficiency and stability, and especially recovery of value-added nutrients.
He also used to manage the Joint Research Project – WaKap (www.wakap.de) which was on Groundwater Arsenic Remediation and Desalination in Vietnam.
His research project has the potential to contribute to the academic understanding of eco-friendly water treatment technologies, but more than this, it may have an impact on wider environment and industrial processes too.
