Biography

Currently, I work as an information specialist at the LUT Academic Library. My main interests and the key topics of my work are information literacy education and research. I feel privileged to collaborate with faculty at the LUT University and the LAB Univ of Applied Sciences and share my thoughts and ideas with colleagues both nationally and internationally. I have also participated in a national group of experts working together to form information literacy recommendations for higher education in Finland. Open science and its development interest me greatly.

The main objective of my research is to find out how information literacy education can and should be developed to benefit students' lifelong learning. My slogan is: It is not computer skills, it is the mindset that matters.
