I graduated as an M.Sc. in 2003 and started my work career already three years before. Throughout my professional career I've done 100 % software development. Most of the time I've worked with the kernel and userspace development for various Linux-based embedded systems. I've worked in designer/architect, developer, team lead and expert roles. I live outside of Finland.
I like to spend my free time in various ways, like move in nature, either by foot or by MTB.
I don't have specific wishes for the mentee. This is about your path - it's OK to not know exactly what to ask or to discuss, we can scope it out together in our dialog. Please note that I don't know the professional aspects of fields other than software development. However, I believe the most important take-aways of mentoring are very generic and apply to many fields.
