My name is Maziar Estavi, and I started my academic journey in Civil Engineering. Later, I completed my first master’s degree in Iran in Construction Engineering and Management and then my second master's degree at LUT University in Finland, majoring in Sustainability Science and Solutions with a minor in International Business. Alongside my studies, I have always been an entrepreneur and self-employed professional, working mainly in the education and consultancy field. Beyond my academic and professional work, I am deeply passionate about photography and videography. Visual storytelling is a core part of my character, and over time, it has allowed me to build a large and engaging community on social media.
I wanted to join the LUT Mentoring Program because I truly enjoy helping students in both their academic journey and their future careers. Sharing experiences, exchanging ideas, and being part of an inspiring academic atmosphere give me energy. As LUT proudly says, it is "the Land of the Curious” and I believe curiosity is the key to growth. If you are curious and eager to learn, you are very welcome to be my mentee.
Since I run my own business, I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate time to my mentees and support them in the best way possible. As this is my third year as a mentor for LUT master's students, I look forward to walking this journey together, learning from each other, and building meaningful connections.
