I was born in the beautiful city of Saint Petersburg, Russia. At the age of 14, I made a conscious decision to study at a Physics and Mathematics Lyceum. I will always remember my high school years with warmth and a smile — it was a very good and memorable time.
After high school, I entered the Polytechnic University in the Department of Innovations. At that time, it was a trendy field (believe me!), and I wanted to explore something beyond Math and Physics. My bachelor’s thesis focused on agent-based simulation modeling of network subscribers. Luckily, my home university offered a double-degree program in cooperation with LUT, and I did not miss this opportunity. At LUT, I studied Global Management of Innovation and Technology, and for my master’s research project I explored ways to improve the accuracy of Ensto’s demand forecasting model.
After graduation, I continued my career with Ensto in Porvoo, where I worked for about six years in Operations. A lot happened during those years: I developed a forecasting model, improved the internal supply chain, inventory management, and planning processes — making Ensto even more Lean. At the same time, I created BI reports for different departments and provided various data analytics services.
After Ensto, I decided to join Delivery Hero Finland (Foodora) to contribute to its Operations. After a year and a half managing Foodora’s performance in Finland, I discovered many similarities between Operations in manufacturing and IT companies.
I then joined Neste, where I worked for about two years in the investment projects digitalization team, focusing on data quality management. Now, I am excited to be part of the Legrand family, managing Demand and BI for Legrand Nordics.
Beyond work, I enjoy a wide range of activities. I love painting and have already held three personal art exhibitions. I also enjoy sports, singing in a choir, and learning languages — I speak Italian and am becoming more and more confident in Finnish 😄. For the past year, I have also been running my own business, helping companies solve challenges in operational optimization and data analytics.
I would be very happy to share my experience and be a mentor to any student who is good with numbers, unafraid to try and learn new things, and who sees deep meaning in continuous self-development and improvement.
