I have over 25 years of work experience and have worked in several large companies in Finland within the industrial sector. My career has involved working in international settings and across different regions globally. Early in my career, I held various financial accounting and reporting roles before transitioning to IT, where my responsibilities included implementing, developing, and maintaining ERP and business systems. My work has also involved business process development, collaborating closely with business units, and leading IT professionals. Currently, my role focuses on strategic planning and execution, which has expanded my responsibilities to areas such as leadership and organizational development.

I graduated with a major in accounting after high school in the 1990s. To further my professional development, I continued my studies while working, earning a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance in the early 2000s and, more recently, a Master's degree in knowledge management and leadership.

My motivation for applying to the mentoring programme is an interest in coaching approaches to leadership, with the aim of practicing these skills in a new context. I also believe that my professional experience may be useful to students who are considering their own future careers. Additionally, participation in this programme offers an opportunity to remain engaged with LUT as an alumna.
