I hold a bachelor’s degree in Ship Engineering from PUT, a master’s degree in Energy Engineering from Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU), and a master’s degree in Sustainability Science and Solutions from LUT University. After completing my studies, I worked in the sustainability departments of several companies, applying my technical and environmental knowledge in practical settings. I am currently pursuing my PhD at Åbo Akademi University, focusing on sustainability in shipping and energy, area where my passions for engineering, the environment, and the maritime sector meet. Alongside my research, I assist in teaching sustainability assessment, supervise master’s thesis students, and manage various other academic tasks.

This is going to be my third year as a mentor in the LUT Mentoring Programme. I value the opportunity to share my experiences and insights, while also learning from the fresh perspectives of my mentees. My approach is supportive, structured, and open, aiming to help mentees develop clarity in their goals and confidence in their next steps. I particularly appreciate working with mentees who are curious, motivated, and willing to explore challenging paths.

In my free time, I enjoy shooting sports, staying active, watching movies, and occasionally playing games. I believe that professional growth benefits from a balanced life, and I look forward to supporting my mentee’s journey both academically and personally.
