After graduating with a Bachelor's in General Engineering, I decided to orient my studies towards energy and experience living abroad. Thus, I joined LUT for a Master's program in Energy Technology in 2018.

During my two years of studies, I have learned closely from my Professors and colleagues to take a proactive approach in structuring my career. This advice has helped me to define my career path. As an international, it was important to me to have my first insights into the Finnish local way of employment and adapt to the professional environment.

Having experience in diverse segments within the energy sector and different positions made me realize which aspects of my career I would like to concentrate on and highlighted the nature of tasks I enjoy doing. These lessons learned are not necessarily taught during classes, and students might have different expectations not aligned with the "real-life" case. For this reason, I would like to support the mentees by sharing practical guidance. Mentoring is a two-way knowledge transfer, and I am excited to start this experience and learn more about you!
