Hello! My name is Daria. I am an LUT alumna, actually, LUT and I have a long-shared history there I hold a doctoral degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from LUT University. Before that, I completed my master's degree in Supply Management with a minor in Sustainability.

My professional journey has taken me from researching sustainable warehouse management systems in academia to configuring and optimizing these systems in one of the world’s biggest logistics company. I have also had the chance to publish academic articles, present my research at conferences, obtain research funding, and work on crossfunctional university-industry projects. All of these have helped me expand and build my knowledge and expertise.

I would be glad to become a mentor for an early-stage doctoral student, as I have followed the same path and know the pitfalls and life hacks of the doctoral journey. I believe mentoring is about creating a safe environment where questions can be asked, knowledge can be shared, and support can be given. I understand the value of guidance in navigating the unknown. I want to help mentees discover their strengths, set achievable goals, and build confidence while exploring their own path.

In my free time, I like cooking and experimenting with various recipes. I enjoy exploring new places and travelling. I hope to work with mentees who are curious and ready to make the most of their career. Together, we can turn challenges into opportunities for building your own success story
