I hold an academic background in Computer Science (B.Sc. and M.Sc. with First Class), and I recently completed a Master’s degree in Software Product Management and Business at LUT. Over the past 14+ years, I have built my career as a senior software engineer, software project manager, and IT leader, working with multiple global teams. My professional journey includes roles ranging from software engineering to heading software divisions, and most recently, project management roles in both the private sector and academia. I have also been engaged as a Teaching Assistant at LUT, supporting students in software engineering, project management, and process management courses.
I chose to become a mentor because I believe strongly in knowledge-sharing and guiding others through the opportunities and challenges of building a career in the technology domain. As someone who has worked with diverse teams, led complex projects, and navigated both traditional and agile environments, I hope to help my mentee gain practical insights into career development, competence building, and industry expectations. I value open communication, continuous learning, and mutual respect, and I wish to support my mentee not only with professional guidance but also with encouragement in shaping their own unique career path.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing table tennis and have actively participated in tournaments, as well as engaging in cultural activities such as dance during my university years back in India. I believe in balancing professional growth with personal well-being, and I hope to bring that same perspective into my mentoring relationship.
