My educational background: I studied energy technology as my major, in fact the only choice back then. Then, in my master's degree I focused on energy economics. Electricity Technology was my minor. I also took some random courses from Industrial Management and Economics to fill my weeks, since I started my academic journey in January 2006 and that wasn't a very well planned start.

I had the privilege to work my holidays for Fingrid and learned a lot about fundamentals of the Nordic electricity system and core ICT systems in the industry. That journey came to an end before my master’s thesis and I was forced to find a case for that. I found it in CGI Finland, where I dived in the huge plans of harmonizing Nordic electricity systems. It was actually the first study towards winning approximately 45M€ Datahub delivery case nine years later. I led energy domain business development in three very different ICT consulting companies: CGI, Solita and Futurice. Now I am self-employed business advisor, still working with the energy companies.

I I think I might have a tip or two to offer thanks to my perhaps quite peculiar background, and many things to learn from others. I love to change ideas and listen to different points of views. That’s why this is something of interest to me.
