I am a Head of Product at Solteq, where I lead the development of several software products for the energy sector. I originally studied energy technology and started my career as an R&D engineer, but eventually moved into the software business and never looked back. What keeps me excited about my work is the intersection of technology, customer processes and the energy sector, all of which are undergoing major transformation through AI and a rapidly changing world. Alongside my work, I have recently started a PhD in Innovation Management, focusing on how AI is changing innovation and the way organisations work.
I have had some great mentors myself, and gained a lot from those relationships. That is one of the main reasons I wanted to become a mentor: I would like to give something back, while also learning from a new perspective. I would especially enjoy mentoring someone who is genuinely curious about new technology, AI and the possibilities they create for R&D and innovation. I am happy to discuss career choices, ideas, technology, leadership or simply challenge each other's thinking. Outside work and studies, I spend a lot of time being active and exploring new places
